Launched in 2294, and form­ally com­mis­sioned at Star­base 514 in 2295, the U.S.S. Lyo­n­esse is the 12th in the Arca­dia-class. She has been out­fit­ted with an exper­i­ment­al warp drive and shields, along with advanced sensors, and, under the com­mand of Cap­tain Mas­uda Akari, assigned to explore the Black Cluster.
